“Unfinished” winner of the Golden Lion 2016 Venice Biennale

Spain wins golden lion for best National Pavilion at Venice Architecture Biennale 2016 which is titled ‘Unfinished‘, the exhibition curated by architects Iñaqui Carnicero and Carlos Quintáns consists of nearly 67 proposals and 7 photographic series presenting answers to the problems arising in Spain after the recent financial crisis. the inherited situation has led to many architectural studies that reflect on the passage of time and promote serenity and wisdom rather than the excesses of the past.

Grupo Aranea y SUBARQUITECTURA ganan el concurso internacional de ideas del frente litoral de Alicante. Hemos trabajado durante dos largos años (el concurso de 2 fases se ha ido alargando por diversos motivos) en una propuesta que va mucho más allá de un simple paseo marítimo. Se trata de recuperar el pulso a una ciudad profundamente vinculada al mar, tantas veces maltratada.
Nuestro archipiélago conectado, esta lejos de ser un paseo lineal. El conjunto de valiosos paisajes que conforman la costa de Alicante debe protegerse de la homogeneidad. Trabajamos para conservar y recuperar su identidad. Más que construir nuevos elementos urbanos ha llegado la hora de borrar o reutilizar lo existente. Revertir la huella que ha hecho peligrar nuestros paisajes de la infancia.

Exposición y Conferencia del “Barbara Cappochin” en Japón

El próximo mes de Abril, coincidiendo con los cerezos en flor, tendrá lugar la cuarta exposición itinerante de la Bienal Internacional de Arquitectura Barbara Cappochin en Japón. Como ganadores de la presente edición estaremos en Tokio para inaugurar la exposición y contar nuestros proyectos. Os esperamos el 8 de Abril en la Tokyo Showroon y el 10 de Abril en el Instituto de Cultura Italiano.
